VITRIX Signs OEM Agreement and Announces Private-Label Partnership

VITRIX Inc. announced on September 25, 2000 an original equipment manufacturer agreement with Data Recognition ( a Brady Co.), a leading systems integrator for automatic identification and data collection solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, Data Recognition will add Vertex's HourTrack solution to its existing offering, and market it to its target audience - the electronics manufacturing industry.

"Previous to this agreement, Data Recognition did not offer a time and labor management solution. By utilizing VITRIX's software development kit, Data Recognition can offer HourTrack to its client base of over one million employees and potential customers," stated Skip Pratt, vice president of business development for VITRIX.

"VITRIX's reputation for superior time and labor management solutions inspired us to approach them with a partnership proposal. We now are pleased to add HourTrack to Data Recognition's current range of solutions, and we look forward to continued innovation and support from VITRIX as we improve productivity and performance for our customers," commented Kevin Christensen, manager of strategic alliances for Data Recognition.

"By combining VITRIX's expertise within the time and labor industry with Data Recognition's industry-leading position in high-performance identification and data collection solutions, electronic manufacturers will now have a compatible ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) time and labor solution," Christensen added.

"Many systems integrators and value-added resellers are realizing the tremendous opportunity within the time and labor management solutions arena. VITRIX's solutions are ideal for partnering opportunities because each one is customizable and can integrate seamlessly with several ERP application - crucial elements for a successful solution," stated Pratt.

On September 12, 2000, VITRIX announced that it signed a letter of intent with Zurich Payroll Solutions Ltd. (ZPS), a subsidiary of the Zurich Financial Group, to private-label and market the MyVITRIX solution to the Zurich customer base, providing a total Time and Attendance/Payroll solution for its clients. The letter of intent is subject to the parties entering into a mutually agreeable definitive contract.

VITRIX's 100 percent web-based application was designed to be licensed to leading Payroll, Professional Employment Organization (PEO) and human resource software companies for distribution as an adjunct to their current offerings, or as a unique and private-branded offering customized to reflect their own look and feel.

The announcement fell on the day of the MyVITRIX product launch event and gave the company the opportunity to present a live, private-label demonstration to attendees. Thomas Bednarik, president and CEO of VITRIX, Inc., stated that, "The company views this intended agreement as proof that the high level of activity and interest in the private-labeling opportunity experienced in the past several weeks is beginning to materialize."
