Time Spot Press Releases

AUSTIN, TX. and TEMPE, AZ., November 09, 2004 ? The Texas Legislative Council ? which serves as an information resource for state agencies and the citizens of Texas ? has substantially reduced labor costs and time expenditures by selecting Time Spot (OTCBB: TMAM) to automate its labor management process.

Nearly five years ago, the Texas Legislative Council faced the challenge of updating how it would track employee time and attendance. At the time manual methods such as printed timecards and sign-in sheets were used to capture employee work activity. These processes were not meeting the needs of the organization because of their proneness to human error and other inconsistencies.

Switching from traditional, error-prone methods of employee management, The Council selected Time Spot?s HourTrack? product ? an automated labor management solution ? to streamline labor management processes such as tracking, managing, auditing and reporting the many aspects of employee time and attendance of full and part-time workers. The labor management solution is not only used for tracking employees with regular hours, but also for those who keep irregular hours such as messengers, guides, and college students. HourTrack supports a wide range of data collection devices and generates a number of reports to track and manage the many aspects of employee time and attendance.

?We knew that we could remove inefficiencies by replacing our inaccurate manual processes with a comprehensive software system.? explained Bill Rogers, IT Programmer V for the Texas Legislative Council ?With the HourTrack system, we have resolved the ongoing struggle of monitoring attendance for a number of employees who didn?t maintain consistent schedules from week to week.?

The cost savings most likely results from reduced inefficiencies associated with maintaining paper records and reduced payroll expenses from better employee schedule management. As an organization, the Texas Legislative Council no longer wastes time tending to outdated systems or strategizing about how to accurately capture workforce activity.

HourTrack?s open architecture design allows it to be easily customized to conform to an organization?s unique set of payroll policies and rules. It can act as a standalone system or be integrated with other systems for a complete workforce management solution.
