The importance of scheduling

Scheduling is a key part of the set up and configuration of a time and attendance system. In order to effectively track things such as job costing and workforce productivity, your employees must be associated with some type of a schedule regardless whether they are salaried or hourly.? Without an assigned schedule you will not be able to effectively track and report on employee attendance.

Schedule Types
There are several options to choose from when defining employee schedules:

Specific Shifts -- Has a specific start and stop time

Flex Shifts -- No specific start and stop time
