TIGERDIRECT TO SELL Time Spot?S TIME AND LABOR SOLUTIONS
TEMPE, Ariz., April 5, 2004 ? Time Spot, Inc. (OTCBB: TMAM) has partnered with TigerDirect, Inc., a subsidiary of Systemax Inc. (NYSE: SYX), to provide automated time and labor management solutions to its customers.
Through this alliance, Time Spot?s TA50XL time and labor management solution will be featured in TigerDirect?s product catalog, which is distributed to 1.6 million customers on a monthly basis. Customers will be able to purchase the TA50XL solution through TigerDirect?s catalog, the online store (http://www.tigerdirect.com) or affiliated retail locations.
?Time Spot?s product line is our featured ?time and attendance? vendor,? said Russell J. Strunk, TigerDirect?s Executive Vice President of Marketing. ?Their excellent software, hardware and support set them apart and will provide great service to TigerDirect customers.?
Designed for small to medium-sized businesses, Time Spot?s TA50XL solution is an easy-to-use, powerful application that eliminates the need for paper timecards or timesheets by automating the collection of employee data and the management of labor resources. Using employee badges, individuals can clock in and out at a data terminal, which immediately transmits the information to the TA50XL software. TA50XL transfers this information directly into a company?s payroll system, removing manual payroll preparation.
?TigerDirect is a recognized name in the technology distribution marketplace,? said Thomas Bednarik, President and CEO of Time Spot, Inc. ?TigerDirect employs hundreds of sales representatives, both inbound and outbound, to represent its products. We believe this provides us with a significant opportunity to address the entry-level workforce management marketplace with an effective cost of sales model.?
Included with the TA50XL software are employee badges and the mag-stripe data collection terminal. Since the terminal is ?always on,? supervisors can immediately see who's absent without taking extra steps to poll the data collection terminal.
The TA50XL product debuted in TigerDirect?s February catalog and is available for immediate purchase through TigerDirect?s website at www.tigerdirect.com.
