ARAMARK GAINS MONEY AND TIME WITH Time Spot WORKFORCE AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS

TEMPE, Ariz., July 27, 2004 ? ARAMARK Corporation (NYSE: RMK), a global food and facilities management services company based in Philadelphia, Penn., has substantially reduced labor costs and time expenditures in its Campus Services division with the implementation of Time Spot?s HourTrack? system.

 ?ARAMARK Campus Dining Services selected HourTrack based on the company?s flexibility and dedication to customer service,? said Michael Tuno, Project Lead, Information Technology, ARAMARK Campus Dining Services.

HourTrack is an integrated time and labor management suite that combines client-server software with a wide range of data collection devices to automate the process of tracking, managing, auditing and reporting the many aspects of employee time and attendance. ARAMARK has installed HourTrack at several dozen college campuses ? managing anywhere from 50 to 450 employees at any one location. By restricting employees to the exact schedule they are assigned to, HourTrack has substantially reduced labor costs often associated with overtime.

 ?HourTrack has given us the tools to predict and plan our labor more effectively based on customer needs and has also given us data to measure performance on a monthly basis,? said Dominic L. One of ARAMARK?s clients, West Chester University (West Chester, PA), which employs 275 ?on the clock? workers, has found HourTrack?s status board feature to be particularly useful. Four different computers on campus display a ?live log? that details which employees are working, where they are located, who is on break and when shifts start and end. That level of real-time access has enabled managers to gain full control of the daily schedule reduce labor costs by eliminating unapproved or unauthorized overtime.
